When Google Plus first started this year, you had to be a nerd to have an account. Ok, not really. But it did originally only launch in beta with limited capacity(which was basically just a bunch of nerds). Then it moved into “invite” phase where you had to be invited by a nerd who was invited by some other nerd, who decided you were nerd status enough to invite. How do we know? We were nerds who got invited by some other nerds. Invites eventually became pretty easy to get, but Google Plus was still a pretty big nerdfest… until today. Now you can just go sign up, nerd or not.
